The earliest traces of its history date back to the Gallo-Roman period, in the 2nd century, with the remains of the stone pipes. The name of the estate comes from that of the "Figeacus" family who owned a villa on the site of the present castle.
One of the peculiarities of the plots of the Ch・・teau-Figeac is to have a soil mainly formed of "grave fire" It differs from the rest of the vineyard of Saint-Emilion, which is limestone, clay-limestone or sandy depending on the area.
Blend : Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
